About The Position

As a Facilitator, you may coordinate and lead Family Focused Meetings, Child Safety Conferences (CSC), and Post Removal Conferences (PRC) in alignment with statewide standards. You’ll prepare participants, guide productive discussions, and follow through with documentation to support family-driven, goal-oriented planning.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent post-secondary education with relevant human services experience, Bachelor degree is preferred.
  • Completion of all required trainings and certifications within contractual timeframes, with ongoing renewal/ recertification as required.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to handle emergencies, manage conflict, and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Skilled at keeping meetings focused and productive, ensuring meetings remain productive by re-directing when needed.
  • Genuine compassion and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to support youth and respect their uniqueness.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs. and travel to meeting locations.
  • Strong reasoning, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • An exception to the education requirement may be considered with proper CFI/HHS approval.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and follow all statewide contractual standards.
  • Prepare for meetings by collaborating with key stakeholders (Family Centered Services team members, HHS, families, and other professionals).
  • Meet with families to explain processes, encourage participation, and identify supports.
  • Schedule meetings at times and locations that work best for families and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate necessary supplies, interpreters, and materials for in-person, virtual, or hybrid meetings.
  • Ensure all identified participants are invited and informed of any changes or cancellations promptly.
  • Facilitate meetings according to established standards, ensuring quality discussions, clear outcomes, and actionable plans.
  • Complete all follow-up tasks after meetings, including documentation.
  • Document and upload meeting notes to required systems within contractual timeframes.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all records and communications, following agency policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, required trainings, and ongoing professional development.
