Sage Haus•San Antonio, TX
•$20 - $25•Onsite

About The Position

Sage Haus is seeking a part-time Family Assistant to support a family of four with two young children in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio. The position is focused primarily on household support, including keeping rooms and the kitchen orderly, managing laundry and household supplies, completing errands, and helping the home stay ready for the family’s daily routines. Food support is limited to preparing overnight oats and homemade granola using family recipes. The role also includes transporting children to school and their grandparents’ home in the family-provided car, occasional backup childcare when school is closed, and date-night coverage, ideally every other weekend. Childcare is not the primary focus. The family is looking for someone calm, dependable, observant, self-sufficient, and comfortable working around parents who work from home. They value initiative, clear communication, sound judgment, respect for privacy, and interest in a lasting working relationship. Prior household experience is welcome but not required. The schedule is 20–25 hours per week across five days, ideally Friday through Tuesday, with at least one weekend day required. Shifts are approximately four to five hours per day. The person should be available for either weekday morning drop-offs around 8:30 AM or evening pick-ups around 5:00 PM. Some flexibility is possible, but weekend availability is non-negotiable. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour based on experience, and the start date is ASAP.
