About The Position

The Household Manager & Family Assistant will help a busy family of five maintain the daily flow of their home. The family has three young children, four cats, and one dog; two children attend school and the youngest is home during the day. Both parents are home throughout the day. The role supports existing household systems and works alongside a part-time nanny and cleaning team, with occasional check-ins at a nearby second property. The family seeks someone proactive, organized, efficient, dependable, and comfortable working independently while respecting the family's privacy and routines. Responsibilities span household organization and daily resets; laundry and linen care; preparing approximately two family meals per week and advance-prepping snacks and lunchbox components; occasional childcare and school or activity transportation; errands and household logistics; and tidying indoor and outdoor spaces. The schedule is part-time, 12–18 hours per week, with 12 hours guaranteed, across two to three flexible days. Occasional evening availability for date-night childcare is helpful. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour based on experience. The desired start is ASAP, with flexibility for the right fit. Applicants should submit a short introduction letter, an updated resume, and three professional references with contact information. A background check is required.
