About The Position

We are a busy, warm, and motivated household of three in Cypress, TX, seeking a Part-Time Family Assistant & House Manager. We are looking for a proactive, organized, and energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced household environment. The ideal candidate is a natural go-getter who can prioritize, take initiative, and enjoys getting things done. You should take pride in creating order, solving problems, and helping a busy household run smoothly. Experience with young children, meal planning, preparing healthy meals, and maintaining an organized kitchen is essential. We are looking for a trusted, reliable partner who will treat our home with care, take ownership of responsibilities, and become an essential part of helping our family thrive. This role also involves growing with us as our household needs evolve, including plans to grow our family.

  • Exceptionally organized with a natural gift for organization; builds systems that are easy to maintain and work long term.
  • Enjoys checklists, calendars, routines, labels and finding ways to make a household run more efficiently.

  • Worked with young children before — maybe in a daycare, early education, or family assistant role — and genuinely enjoys being around kids.
  • Capable of jumping into a game, helping with a learning activity, or supporting school-day routines when needed.
  • Enjoys meal planning, grocery shopping, and preparing simple, healthy, family-friendly meals.
  • Comfortable trying new recipes, maintaining an organized kitchen, and helping the family eat well.
  • Natural executor who enjoys turning family ideas into action.
  • Enjoys creating plans, organizing details, researching options, coordinating vendors, managing timelines, and following through on projects from start to finish.
  • Genuinely enjoys creating order, keeping a home running smoothly, and taking ownership of recurring responsibilities.
  • Finds satisfaction in maintaining systems, staying ahead of household needs, and ensuring that the countless details of daily life (laundry, cooking, errands, family logistics, child-related support, cleaning) are handled consistently and thoughtfully.
  • Comfortable taking a rough idea, creating a plan, researching options, coordinating logistics, and seeing projects through to completion.
  • Excited for the long-term opportunity to operate the household behind the scenes, reducing the family’s mental load, executing projects, maintaining systems, and helping bring ideas to life.
