About The Position

We are a warm, close-knit family of four who recently made a big move from Southern California to Tucson, Arizona. Our two daughters (ages 6 and 11) are active and love staying busy, especially with sports, and one of the things we're all looking forward to is welcoming a new dog into our family. This chapter of our lives has been filled with exciting change—a new home, new schools, a new community, and the opportunity to build fresh routines that reflect the life we're creating together. Along with the move, our family is navigating a season of professional transition. One parent has intentionally shifted into a less demanding work schedule, creating more space to explore long-awaited hobbies, be present with our daughters, and enjoy the slower moments of family life. The other parent has stepped into an increasingly demanding professional season, making dependable support at home more valuable than ever. More than simply managing tasks, we're looking for someone who can help create consistency and stability during this time of change—someone who naturally brings calm, organization, and follow-through so our home feels grounded, even when life around it is busy. Perhaps most importantly, we're looking for a relationship, not just an employee. We were fortunate to have the same nanny with our family for ten years, and she became so much more than someone who helped care for our children—she became family. That experience shaped what we're hoping to find again: someone trustworthy, kind, and genuinely invested in becoming a meaningful part of our lives for years to come. As we settle into this new chapter, we hope to find someone who is excited to grow alongside us and help create a home where everyone can truly thrive.

Requirements

Maintain a smoke-free environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Reliable personal transportation required; mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.
Comfortable with pets.

Responsibilities

Plan and prep weekly breakfasts and school lunches for the girls (5 days per week)
Batch prep grab-and-go snacks
Grocery shop across multiple stores (Trader Joe's, Costco, Target, and others)
Manage shared grocery and household supply lists by store
Provide occasional dinner prep support — washing and prepping vegetables, proteins, and ingredients so meals are ready to cook
Kitchen clean-up and maintenance following prep sessions
School drop-off and pick-up on working parent days (Wednesdays and Fridays)
Morning routine support — backpack prep, clothing, snacks, and getting out the door on time
Light supervision and backup childcare as needed, including occasional date night coverage
Serve as an emergency contact for the girls when parents are unavailable (sick visits, early dismissals, etc.)
Kid-related errands, including seasonal gear checks (soccer cleats, school supplies, clothing sizing)
Full family laundry: wash, dry, fold, and put away for all household members
Linen and bedding rotation
Launder cloth napkins and kitchen linens used for family meals
Maintain a tidy and well-stocked laundry area
Daily resets: light tidying, dishes, surfaces, vacuuming high-traffic areas, and prepping the home for the weekly cleaner
Seasonal clothing and gear checks
Organizational projects throughout the home — girls' rooms, toy bins, garage, mudroom, and residual move-in setup as furniture arrives
Event and holiday prep, including guest arrivals and seasonal decorating
Clean humidifiers and air purifiers (particularly relevant in the desert climate)
Maintain batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detectors on a regular schedule
Indoor plant care
Restock pantry, refrigerator, and household supplies; maintain running lists organized by store
Manage household subscriptions and orders (Amazon, Costco, Target)
Handle returns, mail sorting, and package management; break down boxes
Dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up
Coordinate furniture deliveries and contractor arrivals as the household continues to settle in
Daily feeding and walking once the family dog arrives
Schedule and transport to vet and grooming appointments
Administer medications as needed
Maintain pet supplies
Occasional coordination of family vehicle detailing
Household Calendar Management: Build and maintain the family's centralized calendar, including inputting school-year events, extracurricular activities, recurring appointments, birthdays, and important household dates.
