About The Position

BridgeBio is seeking a Family Access Manager (FAM) for the Midwest region to assist families and care partners with the access, affordability, and reimbursement processes for BridgeBio's commercialized treatments for skeletal dysplasia. This role involves engaging with families/care partners and cross-functional teams, playing a key Commercial role in supporting infigratinib. The primary objective is to educate families/care partners on access, affordability, and reimbursement, promote awareness of family support programs, and execute new product launch activities. The FAM will collaborate with the Director of Family Access Managers and internal teams to align on patient services goals and implement brand strategies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders (including Legal, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, Commercial Analytics, Commercial IT, Training, Pharmacovigilance & Market Access), and possess exceptional judgment, business acumen, discretion, communication skills, empathy, and relationship-building abilities.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of Biotech/Pharma experience.
  • Patient services, Market Access, and hub experience preferred.
  • Rare Disease experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate confidence in building rapport with families/care partners.
  • Strong foundation and experience working closely with patient support programs including copay, cost sharing programs, affordability design, and hub models for medical and pharmacy benefit products.
  • Comprehend the complex environment of the specialty market, buy and bill, retail market, reimbursement/access challenges, as well as the OIG/CMS/legal guidelines for offering patient support programs.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop sound strategies and tactics for patient access.
  • Superior communication (oral and written) and teamwork skills to effectively contribute across cross-functional teams.
  • Extremely detail-oriented to create and manage program documents.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with families, patients, and key decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide families/care partner-facing access and affordability support for infigratinib, working closely with Market Access, Commercial, Training, and Brand Marketing teams.
  • Ensure a positive patient journey compliantly through collaboration with all BridgeBio stakeholders.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of family access opportunities within a specific geographic area for all applicable families.
  • Provide personalized issue resolution, including potential hurdles with access and affordability, to families/care partners face-to-face or via phone.
  • Facilitate direct access support between consented families and all relevant stakeholders (hub, pharmacies, prescriber’s offices, and support organizations).
  • Coordinate with the hub partner on missing information follow-ups.
  • Own the relationship between ForgingBridges (a support program for accessing BridgeBio medicines) and consented patients.
  • Onboard and welcome new families to the ForgingBridges support program.
  • Manage status changes with ForgingBridges and follow up with families/care partners, prescriber’s offices, and pharmacies.
  • Ensure ForgingBridges support program business rules are followed.
  • Control the workflow of information and communications with families.
  • Collaborate with the BridgeBio Patient Advocacy team on family/care partner engagements and attend local, regional, and national advocacy meetings/events.
  • Facilitate and present in-person education with families/care partners as requested.
  • Report key insights and findings in a compliant manner to Brand Marketing and other internal Commercial functions.
  • Follow BridgeBio’s policy on handling protected health information (PHI) obtained through pharmacies, prescriber’s offices, and interactions with families/care partners.
  • Attend Commercial national sales meetings, conferences, and regional events as needed.
  • Work on designated projects within the scope of Market Access/Patient Support Services, consistent with developmental plans and strengths.
  • Provide strategic and tactical input for continuous improvement.
  • Develop tactical plans (e.g., educating, triaging, hub interactions) and execute them in support of strategic access imperatives, such as key performance indicators or role metrics identified by Market Access/Patient Support Services leadership.
