About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Falcon 7X Captain for an operation at KTEB and KSWF airports. The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Falcon 7X and for conducting flights safely and prudently in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. The role includes ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew and completing trip paperwork accurately. The role requires on-call availability, annual ICAO international procedures training, and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KTEB or KSWF, or willingness to relocate.

Requirements

• At least 3,000 total flight hours.
• At least 1,500 PIC hours.
• At least 1,500 MEL hours.
• At least 500 MEL PIC hours.
• At least 500 hours in a turbojet.
• At least 250 instrument hours.
• Type rating on a Falcon 7X or comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KTEB or KSWF, or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Falcon 7X safely.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the route and at destination and alternate airports.
• Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately in accordance with current procedures.
