About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Falcon 7X Captain for an operation at KTEB and KSWF airports. The role calls for a standout colleague committed to excellence and working with a team to safely and expertly meet clients’ travel needs while upholding Solairus’ culture of safety, service, and integrity.

The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Falcon 7X and for conducting flights safely and prudently in accordance with company procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Duties include reviewing aircraft maintenance status, completing pre-flight inspections according to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual, checking weather and facilities along the route and at destination and alternate airports, ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew, and accurately completing trip paperwork.

Requirements

• At least 3,000 total flight hours.
• At least 1,500 PIC hours.
• At least 1,500 MEL hours.
• At least 500 MEL PIC hours.
• At least 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• At least 250 instrument hours.
• Type rating on the Falcon 7X or a comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KTEB or KSWF, or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Falcon 7X safely.
• Conduct flights safely and prudently in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the planned route and at airports to be used, including alternate airports.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately in accordance with current procedures.
