About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Falcon 7X Captain for an operation at KMRY airport in Monterey, California. The Captain will operate the Falcon 7X safely and prudently while meeting clients’ travel needs and adhering to Solairus Aviation’s culture of safety, service, and integrity. The role requires on-call availability, annual ICAO international procedures training, and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KMRY or willingness to relocate.

The stated salary range for Solairus crewmembers is $50,000 to $500,000. Pay depends on geographic area, experience, equipment type or aircraft, job duties, training, and the assigned account.

Requirements

• 3,000 hours total flight time.
• 1,500 hours PIC.
• 1,500 hours MEL.
• 500 hours MEL PIC.
• 500 hours in Turbo Jet.
• 250 hours instrument time.
• Type rated on the Falcon 7X or a comparable aircraft.
• Current first-class medical certificate required.
• Able to work on an on-call basis.
• Able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KMRY or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Falcon 7X safely.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the route and at planned and alternate airports.
• Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, the aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately in accordance with current procedures.
