About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Falcon 2000LX Captain for a commutable operation in Southern California. The captain will join a team focused on safely and expertly meeting clients’ travel needs while upholding Solairus’ culture of safety, service, and integrity. The role is responsible for the safe operation of the Falcon 2000LX and for conducting flights prudently in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations.

Requirements

• 3,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 PIC hours.
• 1,500 MEL hours.
• 500 MEL PIC hours.
• 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• 250 instrument hours.
• Type rating on the Falcon 2000LX or a comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within the Western United States or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Falcon 2000LX safely.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the route and at airports to be used, including alternate airports.
• Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with current procedures.
