Falcon 7X Captain - Monterey, CA
About The Position
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Falcon 7X Captain for an operation at KMRY airport. The role involves safely operating the Falcon 7X and delivering client travel in keeping with Solairus Aviation’s culture of safety, service, and integrity. The Captain must work on an on-call basis and conduct flights in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. The position requires an annual completion of ICAO international procedures training and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KMRY, or willingness to relocate. The Captain is responsible for reviewing aircraft maintenance status; completing a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual; checking weather and facilities along the route and at destination and alternate airports; ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew; and accurately completing trip paperwork under current procedures. Solairus lists crewmember pay as $50,000 to $500,000, depending on geographic area, experience, equipment type or aircraft, job duties, training, and assigned account.
Requirements
- Total flight time of 3,000 hours.
- 1,500 hours PIC time.
- 1,500 hours MEL time.
- 500 hours MEL PIC time.
- 500 hours of time in turbo jet aircraft.
- 250 instrument hours.
- Type rating on the Falcon 7X or a comparable aircraft.
- First-class medical certificate.
- Ability to work on an on-call basis.
- Ability to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
- Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KMRY or willingness to relocate.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the Falcon 7X aircraft.
- Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.

- Check weather and facilities along the route and at airports to be used, including alternate airports.
