About The Position
This is a short term opportunity great for summer employment! As a Missoula County employee, you will be part of a team that is committed to positively impacting the community. The Missoula County Fairgrounds is seeking OCCASIONAL LABORERS to join their team. This position performs a variety of unskilled manual labor.
Requirements
- Requires 6 months of experience in manual labor or basic grounds-keeping.
- Requires a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Cleans, paints and assists with minor repairs to buildings and other fairgrounds structures.
- Digs and fills excavations.
- Rakes leaves, mows lawns and trims shrubs.
- Cuts and removes brush and trees.
- Maintains clean grounds; picks up trash; empties garbage cans.
- Shovels snow and/or manure.
- Removes ice from streets and walkways.
- Moves heavy objects from one location to another.
