About The Position

The Security Agent will perform regular foot and mobile security patrols both indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions. This role involves providing physical security and cash escorts to late-night employees, responding to fire and intrusion alarms, and addressing noise complaints and disruptive behavior. The agent will also issue notices and deal with trespassers, provide First Aid/CPR/AED when required, document all incidents in the security log, and solve parking issues in accordance with Municipal By-Law and SOPs.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be in possession of a valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Must be in possession of a valid Ontario Driver License.
• Must be 19 years of age in order to enter licensed premises such as bars
• Knowledge of MSWord, e-mail and other MS Office suite software
• Ability to services our guest and build positive relationships with colleagues and business partners working at Blue

Nice To Haves

• Previous Security, Police and/or military experience a definite asset
• Successful completion of First Aid/CPR/AED training an asset

Responsibilities

• Issues notices and deal with trespassers in accordance with Provincial statues and SOPs
• Provides First Aid/CPR/AED when required
• Documents all incidents in the security log
• Solves parking issues in accordance with Municipal By-Law and SOPs
