About The Position

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring an experienced Pet Care Professional for overnight pet sitting. This role requires availability for overnights from 8pm through 5am (9-hour overnights), with the option to stay later. The ideal candidate will be local to Providence/Cranston/Warwick or within a 20+ minute radius. This position is part-time and will start slow, gradually increasing booked hours. The company has been in business since 2006, offering dog walking, pet sitting (dogs, cats, and other small animals), and overnight pet sitting. They were voted in the Top 3 Pet Service Companies for 9 years in a row and are committed to providing the highest quality of care.

Requirements

• Love dogs and/or cats
• Enjoy the outdoors and being active
• Experienced with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experienced with cats/other small animals
• Reliable transportation
• Own a smart phone
• Ability to work well independently
• Good communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Desire a flexible schedule
• Seeking part time work or supplemental income

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Visit client’s homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation
• Walking and exercising dogs
• Letting dogs out for bathroom breaks
• Providing love & attention to pets
• Feeding pets
• Administering medication
• Providing fresh water
• Cleaning up after animals
• Cleaning litter boxes
• Leave a note for clients after each visit detailing how the visits went
