About The Position

Classavo is seeking a Faculty Success & Instructional Design Manager to join their team. This is a full-time role where you will partner directly with professors throughout their journey with Classavo. Your responsibilities will include assisting professors during the evaluation process, designing and launching their courses, training them on the platform, and ensuring their success throughout the semester. This role goes beyond traditional instructional design, requiring direct interaction with educators to help them envision possibilities, translate content, and achieve successful course adoption.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in instructional design combined with sales, customer success, implementation, or another customer-facing role.
  • Experience working with software or technology; experience with LMS platforms or EdTech is a plus.
  • Experience in instructional design, curriculum, or learning design is a plus.
  • Experience in sales, customer success, implementation, training, or another customer-facing role is a plus.
  • Classroom teaching experience, whether K–12 or higher education, is a plus.
  • Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment where you'll have the opportunity to help build the process.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in discovery conversations and product demonstrations with professors.
  • Understand how professors teach today, what they're trying to accomplish, and where Classavo can help.
  • Help professors translate their existing course content and teaching approach into Classavo.
  • Lead professor onboarding, course setup, instructional design, and training.
  • Guide professors through the steps required to successfully launch their courses.
  • Proactively manage implementation timelines, commitments, and potential roadblocks.
  • Support professors after launch and help drive successful adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and expand successful Classavo courses.
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with the Classavo team when additional support is needed.
  • Take ownership of professor success from initial engagement through successful adoption.
