About The Position

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center has two Faculty Physicist opportunities in the Radiotherapy Physics Division of the Department of Medical Physics, at the Assistant or Associate Attending Physicist level (equivalent to Assistant or Associate Professor). Both positions support radiation oncology physics services at MSK’s Manhattan facilities and contribute to clinical research and development as part of MSK’s enterprise-wide radiotherapy physics team. One position provides routine clinical support in brachytherapy and external beam radiation therapy, and helps implement new technologies and procedures, particularly in brachytherapy. The other provides routine clinical support in external beam radiation therapy, with an emphasis on implementing new technologies and procedures in motion management and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT). Candidates will work within a large program spanning clinical care, research, and development, with access to advanced radiation therapy equipment, imaging, and motion management resources.
