About The Position

The La Crosse- Mayo Family Medicine Residency is seeking to add a new faculty member to our well-established and respected program. The ideal candidate will join 7 other experienced faculty members in training 18 Family Medicine residents (six per year). This role offers opportunities for faculty and professional development within an integrated healthcare system focusing on team-based care. Inpatient coverage is limited to Family Medicine Teaching Service patients, with all other inpatients managed by the established Hospitalist program. The position is open to H1B Visa candidates.

Requirements

Candidates must be board certified in Family Medicine.
Must have or be able to obtain a Wisconsin Medical License.
Full-scope outpatient family medicine duties.
Inpatient medicine preferred.
OB including deliveries (nonsurgical) are preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

Three or more years of experience.
Experience as a faculty member would be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Join 7 other experienced faculty members in training 18 Family Medicine residents (six per year).
Interest in doing outpatient care.
Inpatient care is preferred.
Interest in prenatal care and labor/delivery care preferred.
