Family Medicine Physician & Core Faculty
About The Position
Responsible for providing primary health care to center patients within the structure of the family practice model. Serves on committees, discharges administrative responsibilities, and attends departmental meetings. Participates in night and weekend on-call coverage rotation. Assumes teaching responsibilities, providing professional supervision of Provider personnel and support staff. Responsible for teaching residents how to care for patients, allowing them to grow and become practice-ready while ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care. Demonstrates compassion and commitment to excellence in teaching and patient care, professionalism, and dedication to life-long learning. Employs a scholarly approach to patient care, improving the health of individuals and the population through the graduate medical education system.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited medical school.
- Current New York State license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current infection control certification.
- Current DEA Registration.
- Current certification in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.
