About The Position

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Hospitalist & Core Faculty Physician for an outstanding opportunity in Marion, Indiana. This position combines inpatient hospital medicine with physician education, allowing you to care for hospitalized patients while mentoring Family Medicine residents and helping shape the next generation of physicians. Responsibilities include caring for general medical and surgical patients, working within an open ICU environment, participating in surgical co-management, and providing resident and medical student education with strong specialist support readily available.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine REQUIRED
Ability to Practice Inpatient Hospital Medicine REQUIRED
Comfortable Managing an Open ICU REQUIRED
Experience with Surgical Co-Management REQUIRED
Interest in Resident Education and Mentorship REQUIRED
Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills REQUIRED
Collaborative Team-Based Practice REQUIRED

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient Hospitalist services
Manage approximately 18 patients per day
Teach and mentor Family Medicine residents
Participate in medical student education
Manage patients in an open ICU environment
Provide surgical co-management
Collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines
Maintain timely clinical documentation while delivering high-quality patient care
