About The Position

The Facility Technician maintains and repairs fitness equipment in a resort-style environment, helping ensure equipment operates safely and club members receive a high-quality experience. The role includes promptly repairing non-functional equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating general repairs and facility maintenance with club management. On-the-job training is provided, and no prior experience is necessary.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Ensure equipment on the fitness floor is operating safely.
Keep records of repairs performed on equipment.
Maintain electrical components, audio/video systems, basic plumbing, and perform general building tasks.
Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment working.
Update purchase orders, order repair parts, and create a timeframe for part delivery.
Help the Department Head manage the budget.
Coordinate and communicate general repairs and facility maintenance with club management.
