About The Position

Eliot is seeking a dependable Facility Technician to maintain office and residential properties in and around Lynn, Massachusetts. The role requires technical skills to maintain facilities and properties and handle a variety of tasks, including general repairs, construction, and other facility-related duties. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with participation in an on-call rotation for nights and weekends once every 10 weeks to address emergencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience working in general maintenance.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
• Personal truck or van to carry supplies, equipment, or tools.

Nice To Haves

• General contractor’s license or trade experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine and emergency work orders for assigned buildings and manage the electronic work order system.
• Perform hands-on repairs at assigned locations, including light carpentry and general repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned buildings to ensure adherence to maintenance policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in special building projects as directed by the supervisor.
• Participate in a 10-week on-call rotation for nights and weekends to address emergencies as needed.
