About The Position

The Facility Technician maintains and repairs fitness equipment in a resort-style environment. The technician helps ensure member safety by promptly repairing nonfunctional equipment and performing preventive maintenance. The role also coordinates and communicates general repairs and facility maintenance with club management. No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training is provided. The position supports the club’s commitment to providing high-quality experiences for members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Less than one year of experience in a related field.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fitness-floor equipment is operating safely.
• Keep records of repairs performed on equipment.
• Maintain electrical components, audio/video systems, basic plumbing, and perform general building tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment working.
• Update purchase orders, order repair parts, and establish a timeframe for part delivery.
• Assist the Department Head with budget management.
• Coordinate and communicate general repairs and facility maintenance with club management.
