About The Position

Eliot is seeking a dependable Facility Technician to maintain office and residential properties in and around Lynn, Massachusetts. The position requires technical skills to maintain facilities and properties and handle varied tasks, including general repairs, construction, and other facility-related duties. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with participation in an on-call rotation for nights and weekends once every 10 weeks to address emergencies as needed. The annual salary range is $65,000–$85,000.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience working in general maintenance.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
• Personal truck or van to carry supplies, equipment, or tools.

Nice To Haves

• General contractor’s license or trade experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine and emergency maintenance work orders for assigned buildings and manage the electronic work order system.
• Perform hands-on repairs at assigned locations, including light carpentry and general repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned buildings to ensure adherence to maintenance policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in special building projects as directed by the supervisor.
• Participate in a 10-week on-call rotation for nights and weekends, once every 10 weeks, to address emergencies as needed.
