About The Position

Clean Harbors is seeking a Weekend Facility Technician for its La Porte, Texas location. The technician helps load and unload trucks arriving at the plant using a forklift and stages waste for processing. The schedule is Friday through Monday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for a four-day work week, with overtime as needed. Pay is $20.00 per hour, with an additional $1.75 per hour shift differential on Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of related experience in warehouse, industrial, or laboring work.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to use a computer efficiently.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Operate a forklift on docks to load and unload trucks.
• Submit documentation for waste tracking and movement.
• Maintain area compliance with permit standards.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
