Facility Technician I
About The Position
The Facility Technician I at Clean Harbors’ Braintree, Massachusetts facility completes assigned warehouse duties safely and responsibly. Duties include loading and unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, maintaining general housekeeping, and ensuring waste is stored in a safe and compliant manner. The position is on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Pay is $23.50 per hour, with an additional $1.75 for the second shift. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act safely at all times.
- Load and unload route trucks.
- Prepare waste loads for shipment to a Recycle Center or Distribution Center.
- Manage the inventory ordering and receiving process.
- Maintain general housekeeping and keep the work area clean.
- Ensure waste is stored safely and properly.
