Facility Technician I
About The Position
The Facility Technician I at Clean Harbors’ Braintree, Massachusetts facility completes assigned warehouse duties safely and responsibly. Work includes loading and unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling and managing inventory, maintaining general housekeeping, and ensuring waste is stored safely and properly. The position is first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with pay of $23.50. Clean Harbors describes its work as supporting businesses’ environmental and waste-management needs, including hazardous waste management, parts-cleaning technology, and oil re-refining. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act safely at all times.
- Load and unload route trucks.
- Prepare waste loads for shipment to a Recycle Center or Distribution Center.
- Manage the inventory ordering and receiving process.
- Perform general housekeeping and keep the work area clean.
- Ensure waste is stored in a safe and proper manner.
