About The Position
The Facility Technician I at Clean Harbors’ Reidsville, North Carolina facility is responsible for completing assigned warehouse duties safely and responsibly. The role includes loading and unloading tankers and route trucks, yard driving, preparing waste shipments, managing inventory, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring waste is stored safely. The position requires comfort working at heights.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
- Comfort working at heights.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience (preferred, not required).
Responsibilities
- Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act safely at all times.
- Load and unload route trucks and tankers.
- Prepare waste loads for shipment to the Recycle Center or Distribution Center.
- Manage inventory ordering and receiving.
- Perform general housekeeping and keep the work area clean.
- Ensure waste is stored safely and properly.
- Perform yard driving.
