About The Position
Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Technician I to perform hands-on facility operations in Richmond, California. The role includes warehouse work, inventory management, general labor, and washing containers ranging from 3 to 43 gallons. The position also involves drum pumping and dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading trucks. Employees complete paperwork related to waste tracking movements and use a scanning application. Health and safety are the top priority; employees must use appropriate personal protective equipment, complete safety training, and follow all safety procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts and overtime as needed. Pay is $24–$25 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least 1 year of related experience; general labor experience is acceptable.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
- Use proper personal protective equipment, complete safety training, and adhere to safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Follow company health and safety policies and procedures and act safely at all times.
- Perform drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and truck offloading.
- Complete and submit paperwork for waste-tracking movements and use a scanning application.
- Perform warehouse work, inventory management, general labor, and washing containers (3–43 gallons).
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
