About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Facility Driver for its facility in Jamison, Pennsylvania. This is a 1099 contract position with PRN hours, as needed. The Driver transports clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments; delivers appointment documentation and lab specimens; provides peer-level support during transport; and helps with luggage. The role also includes keeping the vehicle maintained, fueled, and ready for use, as well as helping with custodial and maintenance duties when not transporting clients. Avenues Recovery Center at Bucks is a community-based, residential-style outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment. It works exclusively with Crosswalk Sober Living, whose homes provide clients with a domestic setting and 24/7 supervision and care.

Requirements

Current and valid state-issued driver's license.
Strong communication and time-management skills.
Dignified, respectable character reflecting recovery principles.
Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor the transportation schedule and safely transport clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments as necessary.
Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens as necessary.
Engage clients at a peer-support level during transport and assist with luggage.
Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, fully fueled, and ready for use at all times.
Assist with custodial and maintenance duties when not actively engaged in transport.
