About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Facility Driver for its Bucks facility in Jamison, Pennsylvania. This is a 1099 contract position with PRN hours, as needed. The driver transports clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments, and may collect or deliver appointment documentation and lab specimens. The role also includes engaging with clients during transportation, helping with luggage, keeping the vehicle maintained and fueled, and assisting with custodial and maintenance duties when not transporting clients.

Avenues Recovery Center at Bucks is a community-based, residential-style outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment. It partners with Crosswalk Sober Living, whose supervised sober-living homes allow clients to participate in treatment while residing in a domestic setting with 24/7 supervision and care.

Requirements

• Current and valid state-issued driver's license.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Dignified, respectable character that reflects recovery principles.
• Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the transportation schedule and safely transport clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments as necessary.
• Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens as necessary.
• Engage with clients at a peer-support level during transport and assist with luggage.
• Keep the vehicle well-maintained, fully fueled, and ready for use.
• Assist with custodial and maintenance duties when not actively transporting clients.
