About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Facility Driver for its Jamison, Pennsylvania facility. This is a 1099 contract position with PRN, as-needed hours. The driver transports clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments; collects and delivers appointment documentation and lab specimens; and offers peer-level support during transport. The role also includes helping with luggage, keeping the vehicle fueled and maintained, and assisting with custodial and maintenance duties when not transporting clients.

Requirements

• Current and valid state-issued driver's license.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Dignified, respectable character that reflects recovery principles.
• Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of experience in the treatment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the transportation schedule and safely transport clients for admissions, discharges, and appointments as needed.
• Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens as needed.
• Engage clients at a peer-support level during transport and assist with luggage.
• Keep the vehicle well-maintained, fully fueled, and ready for use.
• Assist with custodial and maintenance duties when not actively transporting clients.
