About The Position

This position helps provide and maintain facilities that allow Church members to worship, teach, learn, pray together, make and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances. Church facilities should provide a spiritual setting for worship and present an image of reverence and dignity in the community. The Facility Coordinator assists the Facilities Management Group in ensuring timely facility maintenance according to established processes and standards for maintenance, repair, and replacement, and provides administrative support to a Facilities Management workgroup. The selected applicant must reside in the designated geographic area and within 30 minutes of the highlighted location.

Requirements

• Two years of post-high-school education.
• Three to five years of diverse clerical experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating computer skills.
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft applications, and aptitude to learn other software applications as needed.
• Professional phone etiquette and effective business writing skills.
• Basic business accounting skills, including understanding invoices, purchase orders, and contracts.
• Organizational skills, including filing, scheduling, time management, and prioritization.
• Required: IFMA Training Essentials of Facility Management.
• Must reside within the designated geographic area and within 30 minutes of the highlighted location.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer support.
• Prepare purchase requisitions, process invoices, prepare financial reports, and track purchased materials and services.
• Support and work closely with Area, Region, and Facilities Management group teams.
• Maintain computer databases for purchases, work orders, and facility records.
• Communicate preventative maintenance schedules.
• Perform other office and administrative duties and travel as assigned.
