About The Position

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is seeking a full-time Facility Attendant/Sports Official in Thousand Oaks, California. The role helps keep the fitness center clean, organized, stocked, and welcoming, with responsibilities focused on the men's locker rooms, exercise areas, towels, laundry, and some front desk work. The position also includes seasonal officiating of recreational leagues as needed. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with no weekends. The compensation range is $17.50–$18.50 per hour; the final offer depends on factors including location, qualifications, experience, and skill set.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Current CPR/AED certification.
Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Launder, fold, and restock towels daily.
Launder exercise clothing bags and return them to member lockers.
Maintain the office area.
Maintain the men's locker room and keep the facility, equipment, and locker rooms clean, stocked, and well-maintained.
Ensure personal and facility appearance meet standards.
Answer phones and check emails.
Verify equipment is operating properly and immediately report potentially unsafe conditions.
Complete projects and other duties as assigned.
Officiate recreational games on a seasonal basis and explain game rules to players as needed.
Enforce rules impartially and address disruptive or unsafe behavior according to facility standards.
Maintain a professional appearance and punctuality, and promptly report concerns involving games, players, or participants to site management.
