About The Position
Canterbury Woods is hiring a full-time Facilities Manager for its Williamsville campus. The role oversees maintenance and grounds scheduling and maintenance staff, supports departmental budgeting, and contributes to committees and operational reporting. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., for 40 hours per week. Flexibility to respond to emergencies at any time is required.
Requirements
- At least two years of supervisory experience in a maintenance-related position.
- At least five years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of all aspects of maintenance.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain schedules for employees in the maintenance and grounds departments.
- Approve timecards for maintenance and grounds department employees for payroll.
- Supervise maintenance department staff, including providing daily coaching, maintaining regular communication, and completing annual and probationary reviews.
- Conduct routine personnel inspections to ensure required job duties are being performed.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and selecting maintenance personnel.
- Assist with budget development as needed and adhere to the departmental budget.
- Serve on maintenance committees as appropriate and provide written or oral reports of services and activities as required.
