Requirements

  • Possess outstanding customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
  • 5+plus years of general maintenance craft or carpentry experience required.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
  • Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
  • Personal hand tools a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test before employment.

Nice To Haves

  • familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical systems and equipment for assigned facilities.
  • May be assigned more complex assignments that include multiple systems or cross-departmental interaction to complete the maintenance or repair.
  • Specialized knowledge and expertise in locksmith, HVAC, motors, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems are required to perform a variety of duties.
  • Repairing heating, lighting, cooling, plumbing, ventilation systems and equipment.
  • Installation and maintenance of motors and specialized equipment.
  • Performs tasks related to the alteration, repair, construction, and maintenance of floors, stairways, partitions, and walls in a commercial environment.
  • Lays out and frames walls with wood or metal studs.
  • Installs wall protection including FRP board, crash rails, corner guards, etc.
  • Drywall hanging & finishing.
  • Installation of doors & metal frames, drop ceiling grid and tile, including replacing door locks and hardware.
  • Performs modular furniture assembly and installation.
  • Inspects structures to identify and repair defective or damaged sections or parts.
  • Reads and interprets building plans/blueprints and takes measurements of distances and materials to establish the dimension/size of a structure.
  • Erect ladders and scaffolding to assemble wood/metal parts above ground level.
  • Manage small projects and oversee subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations to minimize the risk of workplace accidents.
  • Respond to off-hours emergencies (on-call).
  • All other duties as assigned.
