About The Position

PharmaCann, Inc. is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Technician III to perform day-to-day maintenance activities for their facilities. This role requires proficiency in a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks, a strong understanding of tools and techniques, and excellent attention to detail. The technician must be able to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery issues and collaborate with leadership to meet facility needs. This is a senior-level position within the Facilities and Maintenance Technician series, characterized by more complex tasks and a higher degree of independence compared to the Technician II role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum.
  • Five years previous facilities and industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Four years experience in one of the following: Industrial HVAC, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Advanced fabrication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and building blueprints.
  • Exceptional attention to safety and detail.
  • Ability to follow SOPs and work in a cGMP environment.
  • Perform assigned duties in a safe manner while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry.
  • State Law required 21 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certifications (i.e Amatrol, PLC, electrical, mechanical) are preferred.
  • Experience with automated processing and packaging equipment/robotics in a food or pharmaceutical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and adjust maintenance schedules and resources as needed under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager.
  • Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and adheres to quality standard regulations.
  • Maintain the proper performance and maintenance of all mechanical systems within the building.
  • Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on building and machine electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance problems involving structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement.
  • Perform repair or general maintenance work on facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites.
  • Provide detailed material and replacement parts lists for inventory to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment, including inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and greasing bearings/seals.
  • Provide coverage for the boiler and all HVAC and facility mechanical systems.
  • Partner with the security team to ensure proper maintenance of all safety and security systems.
  • Manage and maintain maintenance records in a computerized maintenance management system to achieve technical efficiency greater than 95%.
  • Assist with escorting and coordinating outside contractors and vendors.
  • Oversee the daily assignments of Facilities and Maintenance Technicians with direction from the Maintenance Manager.
  • Clean and maintain access areas to the building, including entrances, exits, parking lots, and loading dock areas.
  • Provide coverage, support, and training for Facilities & Maintenance Technicians.
