About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an onsite Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for a leading manufacturer located in Oxnard, CA with experience supporting total integrated facilities. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, have excellent interpersonal skills, and must enjoy working with clients, vendors and the coordinator team to achieve excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills and orientation, with the ability to always maintain professionalism.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to multitask.
  • Can manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds, stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with Maximo CMMS.

Responsibilities

  • Assist team with vendor management, vendor selection and onboarding.
  • Approach all aspects of the work being performed with safety as the highest priority, ensuring OSHA regulations are followed.
  • Handle routine facilities operations by procuring supplies and services, assigning work orders in CMMS, use written and verbal communication as a liaison between vendors and client.
  • Obtaining accurate proposals, issue purchase orders with NTE, monitor work completion/obtain work completion paperwork, final receipt in CMMS for invoicing.
  • Manage the status of work control and backlog for work order submission to work order completion. Status may include waiting for planning, waiting parts, ready to schedule, scheduled, etc.
  • Actively participate in scheduling meetings with partners to finalize priority of work orders.
  • Assist manager with the hiring, training and onboarding processes.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System and capability to create queries and reports. Preferred experience with Maximo CMMS.
  • Experience with Outlook, Excell, Teams, and Word. (Microsoft Office/database)
  • Other duties as assigned.
