About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair activities for all facilities at Alltech HQ. This role ensures that all building systems, equipment, and services function efficiently, and that safety and compliance standards are met. The coordinator will oversee the maintenance schedule, work closely with vendors, and respond to maintenance requests while ensuring minimal disruption to employees’ workday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
• Knowledge of building systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general construction.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.
• Proficiency with computer software for tracking work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory management (e.g., CMMS systems, MS Office, excel.).
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities for all facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.
• Liaise with external contractors and service providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of service.
• Track and prioritize work orders and maintenance requests, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
• Ensure all facilities equipment are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards, environmental guidelines, and building codes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs, repair reports, and inspections in eMaint CMMS.
• Oversee and guide a team of facilities technicians and support staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety procedures.
