About The Position

The Facilities Custodian assists with general housekeeping and light maintenance of the work site and grounds. The role includes maintaining clean and stocked restrooms, disposing of trash and cardboard, cleaning floors and dusting, replacing light bulbs, and possibly performing lawn maintenance and snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, keeping toilet tissue, soap, paper towels, and other restroom products stocked.
• Break down and properly dispose of cardboard, including using a cardboard baler.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of trash properly.
• Keep floors clean by mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and/or operating a floor scrubber.
• Dust shelves, products, and other surfaces.
• Replace light bulbs as necessary.
• Possibly perform lawn mowing and maintenance and snow removal.
