About The Position

The Facilities Custodian assists with general housekeeping and light maintenance of the work site and grounds. The role includes cleaning and maintaining restrooms, keeping supplies stocked, disposing of trash and cardboard, and maintaining clean floors and dust-free shelves and products. Duties may also include lawn maintenance and snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, including keeping toilet tissue, soap, paper towels, and other products stocked.
• Break down and properly dispose of cardboard, including using a cardboard baler.
• Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of trash.
• Keep floors clean by mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and/or operating a floor scrubber.
• Dust shelves, products, and other areas.
• Replace light bulbs as necessary.
• Perform possible lawn mowing and maintenance and snow removal.
