Facilities Attendant - Campus Recreation
About The Position
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent may perform some or all of the functions listed below. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4. This position is covered by the AMUSE collective agreement. Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located
- High School Diploma
- 1 Year Related Experience
Nice To Haves
- Prior customer experience is an asset
- Knowledge of equipment setting up/take down or previous experience in similar role is an asset
Responsibilities
- Assist with participant check-in for sport activities
- Greet clients and answers specific inquiries with a positive attitude
- Assist with equipment setup and take down
- Monitor sporting areas and inform supervisor of issues encounter that require immediate attention
