The Facilitator plans and leads meetings, workshops, focus groups, strategy sessions, team-building events, training briefs, and project-launch sessions for the Federal Transit Administration. The role creates conditions for productive participation, synthesizes input in real time, remains neutral, and turns discussions into clear decisions, recommendations, and next steps. The ideal candidate is composed, inclusive, organized, and comfortable working with staff, managers, executives, and external stakeholders. The position includes planning session objectives, agendas, exercises, discussion guides, presentations, templates, and supporting materials; designing virtual, in-person, and hybrid sessions; facilitating group engagement; documenting session outputs; and coordinating with project leads, subject-matter experts, and client stakeholders. Meeting outputs and supporting documentation are generally due within one week of the event. The role also tracks activities against approved scope, schedule, and level-of-effort hours, and identifies risks early.
