This is a role where you will be out in the world, meeting people, and doing work that matters. You will be representing nonprofit organizations and talking with people about causes that matter, such as disaster relief, support for children and families, animal welfare, human rights, and social justice. You will learn about the issues your nonprofit partner is working on, share their work with the public, and inspire people to get involved by becoming monthly donors. This is an active role, not a desk job, and involves spending most of your shift outside, walking, standing, and talking to people face-to-face, rain or shine. It is a goal-oriented fundraising job where you will speak with many people each day to inspire them to become monthly donors. You will receive paid training, ongoing coaching, and support from your team. Performance will be regularly coached and evaluated based on your ability to engage the public and successfully sign up new donors. This role requires resilience, motivation by clear goals, openness to feedback, and satisfaction from improving results.
