About The Position

A fabricator fabricates, positions, aligns, and fits parts of structural metal products. The role includes manufacturing parts according to blueprints using basic welding symbols, reading job travelers and interpreting blueprints, and completing production records using a computer format to maintain cost, efficiencies, inventory, and integrity. The fabricator also maintains cleanliness of the press, workstation, and immediate press area through good housekeeping practices. This is a full-time, first-shift position with overtime and weekend work when necessary.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic welding, including MIG (GMAW) welding.
• Ability to follow directions and get along well with others.
• Outstanding punctuality and attendance.
• Ability to read and understand standard and metric tape measures.
• Must be available for overtime and weekend work when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture parts according to blueprints using basic welding symbols.

• Complete production records in a computer format to maintain cost, efficiencies, inventory, and integrity.
