About The Position

The Fabrication Maintenance Mechanic provides mechanical and machine maintenance and fabrication support to the Livingston Plant. The role fabricates and repairs equipment from blueprints and sketches, including tables and conveyors, and operates lathe and milling machines. It also involves welding with arc, heli-arc, and gas processes, general cleaning, and assisting other areas as needed to maintain safety, housekeeping, and proper sanitary procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

The position requires working rotating Tuesday–Saturday work weeks and overtime, weekends, or other times as dictated by production equipment requirements. The hourly pay range is $23.50 to $31.75, with additional premiums for specified evening and overnight hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of building and facilities maintenance experience.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to interact positively with Plant Production and Maintenance personnel to resolve maintenance issues.
• Ability and willingness to work rotating Tuesday–Saturday work weeks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training in lock-out/tag-out and safe work practices.
• Ability to bend, stoop, walk, and stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to safely climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work at high altitudes, on catwalks, and on roofs.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on wet concrete floors.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and times dictated by production equipment requirements or needs.
• Ability to submit to and pass a criminal background check.
