About The Position

LEE Industries is hiring a full-time Fabric Topstitch Sewer for its Manufacturing department at Plant 5 in Conover, North Carolina. The position operates a topstitch (double-needle) machine to follow blind seams on cushions and flatwork, producing upholstered furniture components to the production schedule and quality standards. The role is performed in a climate-controlled facility. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional Fridays from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The employer describes the positions as offering consistent 40–45 hours per week and no Saturdays. Requirements

At least 2 years of furniture topstitch (double-needle) sewing experience.
Ability to work full time.
Effective communication skills.

Ability to sit for long periods.
Ability to work independently.
