About The Position

Fabric Technicians use various materials to form parts according to customer specifications. They confirm that the correct materials are being used and read, initial, and follow planners and work orders. The role includes preparing molds, verifying materials, monitoring material out times, and completing required testing and paperwork while following applicable workplace policies.

Responsibilities

Lay up various materials to form parts based on customer specifications within labor targets.
Ensure molds are properly cleaned before layup.
Verify material kits and backing.
Monitor and record material out times.
Maintain regular, punctual, and reliable attendance as set by the supervisor and consistent with handbook guidelines and applicable standards.
Follow applicable safety, quality, personnel, and other policies.
Perform specification testing according to customer and certification requirements.
Cross-train as determined by manufacturing department and shop managers.
Complete necessary paperwork.
Perform other duties as assigned for the good of the department and company.
Participate in the department’s 6S program and complete necessary paperwork.
