About The Position

POLYWOOD is seeking a Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility that supports daily operations and employee experience. The role involves cleaning facility spaces, operating cleaning equipment, following safety procedures, and identifying maintenance or repair needs. The position is scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime on Saturdays. Pay is $18.

Requirements

• Experience in cleaning, janitorial, or facility support roles is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and floor machines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and stay on task.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Dependable, consistent, and motivated work ethic.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with industrial or commercial cleaning equipment.
• Familiarity with safety standards in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office spaces.
• Empty trash and garbage containers.
• Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and equipment to protect surfaces.
• Operate floor-scrubbing machines and other cleaning equipment as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility environment.
• Support workplace cleanliness and employee experience.
