About The Position

POLYWOOD® is seeking a Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace and support daily facility operations. The role is scheduled for the first shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime on Saturdays. Pay is $18. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The employee will clean hallways, stairs, and office spaces; empty waste containers; use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to procedures; and operate floor scrubbers as needed. The role also involves reporting maintenance or repair needs and contributing to workplace cleanliness and employee experience. POLYWOOD designs and builds outdoor furniture using sustainable materials, including lumber made from recycled plastics. This position supports the employees who build, ship, and innovate the company’s products by helping maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

Experience in cleaning, janitorial, or facility support roles is preferred.
Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and floor machines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and stay on task.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
Dependable, consistent, and motivated work ethic.
Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience with industrial or commercial cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities
