About The Position

The F&B On Mountain Janitor services and maintains on-mountain restrooms and dining areas to ensure they remain clean and neat. The role maintains clean, safe, and functional public restrooms at facilities including Powderhouse, the Top of Lift 3 comfort station, and Dante’s. It also supports snow and trash removal, restaurant dining-area cleanliness, and light facility maintenance. This is a seasonal position running from 10/26/26 to 4/5/27; dates may change based on applicant availability and business needs. The role includes a free season pass for the employee and dependents.

Requirements

• Ability to ski or snowboard intermediate-to-expert-level runs.
• Knowledge of facility cleaning and sanitation, including thorough cleaning and disinfecting of restrooms, dining areas, and high-traffic public spaces.
• Ability to work safely in snowy, icy, and cold mountain conditions.
• Ability to prioritize cleaning tasks efficiently during peak guest hours.
• Attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Ability to perform minor repairs, such as fixing fixtures, replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning tools and properly handle cleaning supplies and chemicals.
• Ability to identify and report hazards such as wet floors, broken fixtures, or icy walkways.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and work on feet for extended periods.
• Professional and courteous presence around guests.
• Ability to coordinate with maintenance staff, supervisors, and other resort employees.
• Dependable attendance in early mornings.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods indoors and outdoors; bend, kneel, squat, reach, and lift; lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 30–50 pounds; shovel and clear snow and ice; maintain balance on wet, icy, or uneven surfaces; tolerate cold, wind, and changing mountain weather; push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts, trash bins, and snow-removal tools; perform repetitive hand and arm motions; and climb stairs and navigate multi-level facilities throughout a shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean public restrooms.
• Monitor and maintain toiletries and hygiene products.
• Remove trash and dispose of waste.
• Sweep and mop floors as necessary.
• Report problems to the immediate supervisor.
• Report potential safety hazards to the immediate supervisor.
• Help maintain general cleanliness in Powderhouse and Dante’s dining areas.
• Perform light maintenance in facilities.
• Assist with snow removal when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
